Wear-resistant steel
Stainless steel sheets are a type of alloy steel characterized by high corrosion resistance, thanks to the chromium content of at least 10.5%, which creates a passive chromium oxide layer on the surface, which protects against moisture, air and chemicals. High strength, hardness and good plasticity and ease of processing are the properties thanks to which they are used in many industries. The most popular types of stainless steel: austenitic (1.4301, 1.4404), ferritic (1.4016), martensitic (1.4021).
