Transport process
1. Placing an order
You place an order with an estimated transport cost. The order awaits acceptance and calculation of the final transport price in accordance with the price lists provided above.
2. Accepting the order
24METAL.com service accepts the order. At this stage, it is crucial to confirm details such as the type of order, quantity, product specification, delivery address and preferred delivery date. The final transport cost is entered into the order.
3. Payment for the order
The order with the final transport cost awaits your payment.
4. Preparing the goods
Checking the compliance of the goods with the order. Appropriate protection of the goods against damage during transport.
5. Transport organization
Selection of the optimal transport route. Assignment of the appropriate means of transport. Preparation of documentation, including a bill of lading, quality certificates, if required.
6. Loading
The goods are loaded onto the vehicle in accordance with safety regulations to minimize the risk of damage during transport. Careful arrangement of the load to maintain vehicle stability. Securing the goods with belts, tarpaulins or other protective materials.
7. Transport
Transportation takes place according to schedule. The driver is obliged to comply with road traffic regulations and cargo safety regulations.
8. Delivery and unloading
Upon arrival at the destination, unloading is carried out in accordance with 24METAL.com guidelines. The customer is obliged to have the appropriate infrastructure necessary for unloading the goods, e.g. forklift, cranes, etc.
During the transfer of goods:
- The compliance of the delivery with the order is checked (quantity and quality).
- The customer confirms receipt of the goods.
9. After-sales Service
After the delivery is completed, we provide support in the event of any complaints or questions regarding the goods. We also analyze the process to improve the delivery process in the future.
