Thermal conductivity (specific), thermal conductivity (specific), thermal conductivity coefficient, thermal conductivity coefficient, thermal conductivity coefficient (symbol: lambda or k) - a physical property of the body describing the ability of a substance to transfer internal energy through thermal conduction. Under the same conditions, more heat will flow through a substance with greater thermal conductivity.
