STEEL 40H/41Cr4

40H/41Cr4 is chrome steel for heat treatment and surface hardening. It is used to create heavily loaded medium-sized parts (up to 40 mm). These are mainly: liners, axles, crankshafts, gears, piston rods, abrasive discs, instrument bodies, fasteners, surface hardening elements and longer-lasting molds. 40H steel is easy to chemically process, but difficult to weld - this process is only possible after prior heating. Once it is finished, heat treatment must be applied
