Sheet

Sheet metal – a metallurgical product whose thickness is much smaller than its length and width. The thickness of the sheets ranges from tenths of a millimeter to several dozen millimeters. Sheets can be smooth or have a surface texture. They are delivered in the form of flat sheets or strips rolled into coils. Sheet metal is metal formed into thin, flat pieces. Sheet metal is usually produced in sheets less than 6 mm thick. It is one of the basic forms used in metalworking and can be cut and bent into many different shapes. Thicknesses can vary significantly.
