Oxygen cutting technology

Oxygen cutting is classified as a gas method of thermal cutting of metals and is the oldest method of cutting steel. Simply put, the process involves heating metal to combustion temperature and then removing the molten metal from the crack using a high-pressure gas stream. Oxygen cutting requires the use of special torches that simultaneously mix flammable gas with oxygen and deliver a stream of cutting oxygen to the cutting area
