Medium carbon steel

Medium carbon steel – a compromise between strength and ductility. Due to the carbon content of 0.3 to 0.6%, it is harder than previously described, and therefore more difficult to process. However, it can be strengthened by hardening and tempering with heat. It is used to make car parts.
