Grain growth

In practice, noticeable rapid growth of austenite grains occurs at temperatures of 1050-1200°C, where the heating time is a decisive factor. Heating at 1050°C or 1100°C for 15 minutes does not significantly affect the structural changes, while heating at 1200°C for 30 minutes results in a clear growth of austenite grains.
