Forging

The final product obtained in the process of plastic shaping of metals. Depending on the type of plastic forming technology, the forging may be: die forging (obtained in the die forging process) or free form (obtained in the free forging process). The end product of the rolling process may also be called a forging. The input material from which a forging is made is called a forging.
