Cavitation resistance

The material's resistance to cavitation erosion was presented in the mass loss curves during exposure. Martensitic steels had the best resistance to cavitation erosion, which is the inverse of the erosion rate, and ferritic steels had the worst, so the resistance improved with increasing steel hardness.
