STEEL 16HG/16MnCr5

16HG/16MnCr5 is a carburizing steel. Products made of it are characterized by high resistance. The steel itself has specific properties - it is characterized by significant core ductility and high surface hardness. 16hHG is mainly used to make medium-duty machine elements with smaller dimensions (up to 30 mm). These include primarily: worms, bushings, gears, pins, camshafts and forming plates. Welding of this steel is only possible before carburizing
